Prefissi de-, des- e re-

Come riportato da E. G. Parodi, Studj Liguri, in «Archivio glottologico italiano», xiv, 1896, i prefissi genovesi de-, des- e re- hanno perso la -e- e preso la -i- a causa dell’influenza dell’italiano. Da molti decenni a questa parte infatti difende, discorrî, risponde, ecc. hanno preso il posto di defende, descorrî, responde, ecc. nella lingua parlata. Le forme in -e- sono comunque ancora ampiamente attestate nella lingua scritta letteraria.

In questo dizionario, stanti le finalità principalmente didattiche che lo animano (volte anche al recupero di alcune fra le forme più genuine, qualora incontrino l’interesse dell’utenza), si è scelto di riportare esclusivamente le forme in -e-. Le forme “italianizzate” in -i- sono comunque da considerarsi perfettamente legittime.
